I'm Ramesh Nuti. I spent 14 years building Acmetek, a cybersecurity technology company I founded from scratch and eventually exited. That experience taught me what it takes to build real customer relationships, and what happens when technology vendors stop caring about the people they serve.
After Acmetek, I started working with distributors and suppliers that needed EDI to trade with Fortune 500 retailers. The same complaints came up in every conversation: billing that jumped 3x by month three, support teams that disappeared after the contract was signed, and onboarding timelines that stretched from weeks into months.
I didn't set out to start an EDI company. The customers were stuck on outdated software with no support and costs they couldn't predict. I knew I could build something better.
I visited a customer's warehouse, spent time understanding their workflow, and realized their EDI provider was making their life harder, not easier.
ActionEDI started in 2021. Five years in, I still answer support emails personally. I still get on calls when a customer has a blocked shipment. I still visit customer offices to understand how they actually work.
